2000 Cheverlet Cavalier transmission fluid change?

I'm gonna be changing the filter and fluid in the trans. Should I use a additive? The car has a little over 94,000 miles on it. Any recommendations on what kind of additive I should us if any?

Is the fluid red on the dipstick? Or has it changed to a brown color? If brown, fluid is worn out and possibly burned.....If fluid has never been changed on the car, with 94,000 miles on it, I would suggest just a fluid and filter change.....no additives and no flush.....Sometimes a flush on a high mileage transmission does more harm than good.

US NONE! go to a GM dealer ONLY! they wil use the exat RIGHT FILTER and GASKET and FLUID for you! They wil give you a WARRANTY shoudl things FAIL! A specailmachine is sued to get ALL the old and decomposing fluid out of the CONVERTER! it holds several quarts of OLD fludi that has lost it's friction coefficients! GOOD LUCK!
