Is 16 too young to have sex?
My boyfriend and I are both 16 and going to be juniors in high school. He wants to have sex with me but I don't know if I'm ready. We've been together for awhile and we did stuff but haven't had sex yet. Idk if I'm ready. My big worry is becoming pregnant. Even though he would use a condom they can always break. I don't want to disappoint him though. I do love him but I'm not sure it's the right time. But that's my biggest fear is becoming pregnant. Sure I wanna have sex but I'm kinda scared that something will go wrong. How do I tell him?

Yes, 16 is too young. Your boyfriend sounds like a horny male wanting sex, but go with your instinct to not have sex. No form of "safe sex" is truly safe, and could result in pregnancy, and if you do become pregnant at age 16, you will have no financial backing to provide the support that your baby needs. You are smart to question having sex, and you should wait until you are older.

Yes 16 is to young to have sexual intercourse with a male. He's to young too. I think why he wants to do it with you is because he's never had it before and just wants to see what it feels like to do it to a girl. I would tell him you are not ready and if he really cares about you he will respect your decision and wait until your both older.

I think it is more important to wait until your ready, rather than by any set age. Don't worry about your BF, he is a guy, he has been ready since he was 13. If he loves you, he will wait, just that simple.
If he complains, then he doesn't really love you, just that simple.

You need to tell him straight up "I am not ready." And if he loves you back, he'll understand. I wasn't ready and I agreed to have sex. I told him no quickly after and I was raped. Needless to say, I had to go get a Plan B pill. Don't do it unless you are ready
