What kind of fish are these? (Florida east coast )?
These fish were caught in the St. Lucie river. It is a brackish river.

The first one is definitely a Mayan cichlid... not a tilapia, but in the same family and just as tasty, maybe even more so. Either way, it's an invasive species, kill it. And eat it.
No idea what the other one is.

1) Mayan Cichlid, Also known as ' Strawberries and Atomic perch." Very good eating.
2) Juvenile Toad fish. 'best guess, when their small, it's hard to tell."
