There really is no kind way.
You just have to tell him it isn't working out and you aren't feeling the chemistry.
Do NOT. Do NOT! text him that. You should tell him in person, respect him enough to say it to his face.

Simply say that. I'm not interested. And then ignore every text he sends after that.
