PC Shuts down when usb inserted?

theres 2 usb ports in the front & they both make it shut down there is also 2 in the back one is working at the moment & the other dosent work at all, and now the keyboard has stopped working this has all happened all of a sudden so i have no idea what's wrong??

    Power surge on the mobo could of cause the usb ports to short out, check the device manager under universal serial bus controllers click the plus sign to expand and look under host controllers ,usb hub and make sure there is no exclamation mark beside them if there is one update the driver , if there is none then follow the path of the front usb connector to the motherboard unhook it, the pc should work normal the front usb ports might need to be replace

    try a new driver for your motherboard if not its going to be a new motherboard or a new pc
