Can I upgrade Android software on old tablets?
I'm trying to download apps onto these old Cruz tablets. They have Android 2.2 software. The internet and some app store often crash so I can't download apps through the internet. When I try to download apps externally (downloading the app with PC onto an SD card and try to install them onto tablet), the installation fails for most apps. I'm assuming this is due to old software. Is there a free or cheap way to update the tablets' software or any other way to get apps?

Try going into the settings, then about device and then software update.
