I always take at least an hour and a half to get ready and it's not because I wear so much makeup...?

...but it's because of my obsession about my hair. I wear the same hairstyle to class everyday, which is in a casual, "effortless" hair bun. I know it sounds stupid but as long as my hair doesn't look they way that I want it to be, I'd undo it and fix it again and again and again. I know it's a waste of time but I just can't help myself.

This had been going on for years of my life for as long as I could remember and I would always need to start getting ready at least two hours before leaving the house. And the only thing that I do to myself while getting ready is groom my brows and use some lip balm and sunblock. That's it.

How can I get rid of this obsession? I'm so angry at myself for being so foolish, but I really need help...

I'm exactly the same, I used to always do my hair wrong and keep starting again because i got frustrated. So I tried other hairstyles that are very easy to do and I know I will get them right first time like a side plait or a ponytail, then I started practicing nicer hairstyles so that I can do those quickly and easily like a topknot or an illusion ponytail, then I moved up onto braids and harder stuff, and now I can do pretty much anything with hair!! I have a different hairstyle every day! And girls at school have copied some of my styles and some girls who cant do the styles get me to do their hair for them!!!! Just experiment with styles and you can google them! Hope this helps :) xxxxxxxx

Three of my solutions: SHAVE YOUR HEAD FORCIBLY, or... wake up late so you can be in a rush to class. or buy some gel and see if gel helps you to not touch your hair later in the day. Gel will have your hair look the same no matter how many times you comb it back or shape it.. so try that because im sure you have tried a lot of things over the years. :)
