Car voltage is lower when running?
My battery is at 12.6 volts when my car in off. When the car is running it drops to 12.1 volts. Is my alternator going bad?
I'm asking because the battery light is on in my car

A fully charged battery is 12.8v. When running depending on load should be no lower than 13v.and closer to the 14v range. If it is lower check the alternator or the battery. I have seen bad batterys do strange things over the years.

No. 12 volts is the ballpark your car needs to run. no worries dude. Just some draw. Clean your terminals and if your worried replace your wiring harnesses. (very cheap)
