How are: Glee, Merlin, Vampire Diaries and Maximum Ride?

I am going to read them. So how are they? Please give me details of each. And Vampire Diaries, is that same as the TV series? I haven't seen that as well. I don't want much kind of romance novels. Just some good ones. So how are they, I mentioned above?

The first season of glee was goodish.....but the rest was blehh.

Merlin is probably one of my favorite tv shows of all time. Literally amazing, i cried at the last episode and i never cry. There are small bits of romance but they're necessary to the story and not overplayed.

The Vampire Diaries is FULL of unnecessary soap-opera-esque romance and fluff. Not worth your time.

Maximum Ride is pretty good, but the first few books are way better than the last ones. If you read the id recommend stopping after the third book because the rest focus a lot on global warming/pollution and romance. Kinda annoying but still okay reads.

The only ones I've read out of your list are the Vampire Diaries and I thought they were terrible. If you don't want romance then stay away from these books. The characters fall in love so fast it makes Twilight look like a year-long courtship. There's no reason for the characters to fall in love, no build-up or character/relationship development, just BAM - insta-love.

I've heard lots of good things about Maximum Ride but though I haven't got round to reading it yet, I did read When The Wind Blows which is sort of a prequel to Maximum Ride. I don't remember too much about it as I read it a long time ago but I remember enjoying it.

I don't know about the first three, but Maximum Ride is the best thing in the world. Fast-paced action before you even hit page ten. The chapters in the Maximum Ride series are very short, usually four pages or so long. Just when you think they've solved their problems, something bigger comes alone. The romance is handled tastefully. There isn't much romance, but when it starts its pretty good. You're going to get hype every now and then, and you're going to be pissed and cursing James Patterson at some point, like I did.

Glee- I love it so much. ( rip cory) the first-3rd seasons are awesome but the 4th is eh and I have no idea what the 5th season is going to be like now that finn will not be in it.

Vampire Diaries- its a really good show. the first season is eh but it gets a lot better and the books are terrible. the books are so different.

Merlin isn't that great of show in my opinion but you might like it

I like Glee, but their male lead recently died of drug overdose.

DON'T READ MAXIMUM RIDE. PLEASE DON'T! ALL OF JAMES PATTERSON'S BOOKS ARE TERRIBLE AND FILLED WITH MARY-SUES. One of the main character's name is Angel and she has like a thousand powers.

Vampire Diaries is gay. Don't read it. It's only pointless romance.

    Merlin… I'm not sure. Sorry!
