flea killer that works?

I have a very hairy little dog; about 20 lbs. and he has fleas. I try many of the major brands but can't get rid of the fleas.

thanks

Take the dog to the vet, get a pill called Capstar - that gets all fleas off within an hour.

Wash dog to get dead fleas off, wait until he's dry and apply Advantix.

Put Advantix on him every single month without fail.

Key is prevention, much easier than getting rid of fleas after they're infesting the dog and your house.

Wash ALL dog bedding and all bedding where he has been. Vacuum rugs and upholstered furniture, throw the bag out.

If house is infested, you will need to flea bomb.

Again, key is PREVENTION. Get to the vet now and get Capstar before the fleas overwhelm the dog and your house, fleas multiply fast.

I have my girl on a pull called Trifexis. It prevents heart worms as well as fleas. It will kill the fleas once they bit the dog and before they can lay any larva.
