How is the ion in H2O ?

In H+ ion there is only 1 proton, but no neutron and no electron therefore as e=p-(-+ion) = 1-1=0. But in H20, H isn't ionised as 2H+ ?

    Water is a molecule containing hydrogen and oxygen which are covalently bonded. The percent ionic character of the H--O bond in water is 32%. Therefore, there are no ions in water molecules.
