Can anyone suggest any fabulous, resonably priced cafes in Munich?

Hey all, I'm leaving for Europe in a month...first stop Munich and I'd love to know of any wonderful cafes around the area. As many suggestions as possible would be AMAZING.

When I think of Germany I think of imbisses (snack shop) & biergartens, not so much cafes. If people watching is your thing, find a nice park or viewing spot, there is bound to be a reasonably priced imbiss near by. Grab yourself a currywurst and sit on a bench.

There is one place you might like ( I forgot the name) just north of Karlsplatz/Stachus around the corner. But many other places too. We don´t have a Havelka or Sacher like in Vienna but you will find a cafe within ten minutes walk in any direction especially in Schwabing. Of course we have Starbucks too close to the central station but I´d recommend you find out by yourself.

Look for something that has 'Konditorei' in the title. That's pastries and cakes and things.
