As far as gift cards go, Amazon only accepts Visa, MasterCard, or American Express pre-paid gift cards, so let's hope that your gift card has one of those logos. (They also accept their own card, called the Amazon Store Card.)
If it does, you simply find what you want to buy, put it in your cart, proceed to checkout and enter the card information, as well as your shipping address. (If it asks for a billing address, use the same address as your shipping address.) *Be sure* to double-check the addresses you enter for accuracy. There's nothing worse than ordering something only to realize later you put in the wrong address.
