Should I go to a concert alone?

I'm 17, nearly 18 and I just found out that one of my favourite artists, Kacey Musgraves is performing near where I live in the autumn. She's American but not very big in the UK yet. I want to get tickets but the problem is that I have no friends who want to come as they haven't heard of her/or don't like country music. I would imagine the concert would be very mellow as she's a singer-songwriter, its not like a heavy metal concert with a mosh pit.

I'm considering going alone, what's your view and advice on this? I still want to go really badly.

Thanks,

Louise

Seriously how many times are you going to ask this? If you want to go, then go. Its not anyone else's decision to make, you're going to get all mixed answers from here anyway.

Louise, I'm a French guy, about to start my second year of study in the UK. I have no one to go with either! But you said she's coming "close to where you live" so I assume you're not going to her London's gig? I'm going, wouldn't miss it for the world. Anyway I'm sure lots of people are grappling with this quandary as country music fans are rare, and Kacey is quite new.

If you want to go, then do it. I mean how many times are you going to get this opportunity. I rather go by myself then not go at all and regret it later.
