This, of course, is what the right wing has been saying all along - that the Arabs are just trying to dismember Israel piecemeal and have no intention of coexistence..

Sigh - I just hope they're not right.

Because the Palestinian leadership and many people in Palestine don't believe Israel should even exist. Of course not all Palestinians are this way but many are and those are the ones in power. This is why sometimes I think peace is not possible. It's ironic because Israel would be smaller today if the Arabs hadn't waged war on them in 1948 and 1967. If they would have accepted the 2 state solution in 1947 then there would be a Palestine and Israel. There would also be a Palestine if Egypt and Jordan let there be one.

Israel-Palestine is a time killing talks, that is not really a talk to reach peace:

By some research you find out that there is no Israeli country, Israelis all are occupier. There is nothing to talk about it. Israeli should come back their home in Europe, Asia,... and let Palestinians (Muslims, Christians, Jews) came back to their home, Palestine.

.I am sure that the head negotiator for the israelis .....who ever he is.....has a facebook that shows a map devoid of ANY Palestine......and states that israel is the entirety of Gaza,The West Bank and israel.......

STILL...even this being the case ....Palestine want to negotiate.......to end the israeli occupation of Palestine .....to reach a final solution to the conflict......to reach peace....

Perhaps both the israelis and Palestinians will change their MAPS......

Eli Avidar, a well known Israeli diplomat which knows the arab world very well, wrote in his book "the abyss" about what separates israel from the arab world.

One of his point about the arab world is that if they are negotiating with you, they doesn't feel compromised 100% with the cause and they can be hostile using different channels. For them, tells Avidar , there is no contradiction in negotiating from one side and condemning from other side.

I strongly suggest that book whoever wants to know more than a little about the arab world attitude in general.

Well, to be fair, not many Jordanians or Egyptians supported the making of the peace agreement with Israel, but it still happened.

If the leaders can agree on set borders and terms it will be easier to prevent and, if need be, win future wars.

However the Palestinian leaders just seem to be stalling so they could complain later.

why would Israel want to negotiate? LOL it doesn't.

Israel doesn't really care about negotiating because they have more weapons than the Palestinians and that's why they CONTROL the land .... a real negotiation happens both parties have similar muscles but in this scenario there isn't.

You know darn well that in face book anyone could put up any opinion that they want, the first question you should ask yourself is this, was it really him that put up that opinion, or was it some dumb Zionist trying to make him look bad, so all the Zionists could be up in arms, about him?

The second question is let’ say he wrote that, so what? For a few reasons, one if he wrote that than he’s showing his opinion which doesn’t necessarly reflect the opinion of the entire Arab world, two if he did write that and even if that’s the way he really feels, never the less he’ll still be professional enough to do his job, for the best interest of his people, three if he wrote that than who the hell cares people say a lot of things, I once saw a face book that says the only good Arab is a dead Arab, how would you defend that?

In my Face book I put this is coming from a Jew Israel doesn’t have a right to exist? That’s my opinion, I’m sure you put some jusy stuff in your Face book, or are you going to deny that?
