1999 Dodge Ram 1500 van 360 no fire comp. not talking to dash?

No BUSS 2.5 volts at all sensors instead of 5 volts does this have to be the computer?

Update:

I did unplug all of the sensors and all disconnected were 2.5 volt I have not checked the main wire going to the computer which is the next thing I suppose.I also am getting 3 codes that refer to the wiring in the steering wheel is this possible.999 is one and 290 and 291 i think. I will have to go check it out for sure. Thanks a bunch.

Update 2:

I used a code reader and it could not connect with the computer either, I am going to go tear into it now.

it's usually not the computer. the common problem is a sensor has gone bad and is partially shorting the 5 volt reference out. or a wire is rubbed through and grounding out. If I remember correctly there was a TSB on the wiring shorting out around the back of the intake. one way of locating the problem is connect your multimeter to the 5 volt wire and start unplugging sensors one at a time and moving the wiring around slowly. If the voltage jumps back up to 5 v after disconnecting a sensor, you've found the faulty sensor, or grounded out area of the wiring.
