what is it about rabbi es and syphilis that they appear to mimic each other,?

If rabies is the first disease is it possible that syphilis is a mutation of it??

    geezbo - about the only way that rabies and syphilis resemble each other is that both can affect the brain and cause death. Otherwise there is no mutation or mimicking. Syphilis is caused by the bacteria spirochete Treponema pallidum while rabies is a viral disease. No mutation is possible from one to the other. Syphilis is a sexually-transmitted disease while rabies is not. Antibiotics can easily kill the syphilis bacterium in its early stages but not the rabies virus.

    No. Syphilis is related to yaws, not rabies. Rabies is caused by a virus, syphilis by bacteria.
