moving out questions?

OK i will be 16 in January and i was wanting to move out on my own maybe a apartment or a mobile home but i was wanting to know the legal stuff i would have to do my mom is OK with it as long as i can show her i can afford to do this i live in Ohio any answer would be helpful thanks

now if my parents dont agree with what i want to do can i appeal or am i screwed intil im 18

    You're going to actually have to go to court to petition a minority emancipation. Maybe talk to a public defender about it or go to your city hall or D.A. (I think their office is in city hall.) They will file an emancipation of minority for you. No big deal, just an hour or less.

    then you said "now if my parents don't agree"

    What about your dad ?? What does he say ?

    I presume you have a job so you are able to keep yourself. -- If not, I'd suggest you stay at school another year or two.
