Is it okay to go swimming?

I got my cartilage pierced professionally exactly 22 days ago and it started to swell up a bit but the swelling got better through out the days and I've been cleaning it properly. Do you think it's okay to go swimming in an outdoor public pool? And is it okay to go to a water park?

Since it's still swollen (which is normal), I wouldn't go swimming for a little while yet so it has the chance to heal. if you absolutely have to swim, then make sure you clean it well when you get home so it doesn't get infected and/or swell up again. I think it would be okay to go to a pool and a waterpark if you clean it immediately afterwards and still monitor the swelling. Good luck.

You shouldn't take any chances and wait to go swimming until after it is completely healed.
