is this a good camera?

Ive been wanting a good camera for a very long time now; one that can take great action shots of my kids during their sports, etc. So my husband ordered me Fuji Film FinePix SL1000 50X Zoom Camera. Does anyone know about this camera? i originally wanted the Nikon Coolpix p520 because i saw how it took amazing pictures. i love photography. i am always taking pictures of everything. I just want to know if anyone has used this camera before and how good the pictures come out. thank you!

    It's good, and cheaper than the Nikon, but a 50x zoom isn't for the inexperienced.

    I currently have the Nikon Coolpix P520 and it does an amazing job at taking landscapes, I highly recommend it, as it is also a very high quality brand.
