An angel and mentor named Sam Ella Brown. She had my back from the time I was 9 years old until I was 48. I miss her.

For me it is one of 2 things..love, or money. However I have to have these things in advance to be motivated. I'll try to explain..

Love-seeing somebody I want to be with isn't enough because there is no guarantee they will be with you-once you do this or that. The other love motivation would be seeing someone in pain so you become a doctor-that doesn't work with me either-because there is no guarantee that even if I became one that I could cure the ills.

Money-when you have money everything you do is voluntary, you don't have to do anything-in which case anything that would have been considered as work before is now considered like a Hobie no obligation to have to continue doing it unless you choose to. If you realize that nothing you do will gain you that type of freedom (money) it becomes very hard to be motivated to reach for an impossible or unrealistic goal.

An invention called the mirror, which forces me to face myself... even if I've hit an uninspired rock-bottom.

I don't want to see that in a mirror!

That motivates me to at least maintain a borderline life.
