Before you start looking at what size you can install on your rim, check how much frame clearance you have. If your tires are close to the frame at any point you may not be able to install bigger tires. Your rims can probably handle tires as wide as 700 x 32, but they might rub on the frame

You must be good reducing your automobile 2" and going with rims at 17". Just make certain you don't get tires that are too fat and also you shouldn't rather scrape quite a bit at all. Sixteen" rims on our preludes are too small in case you inquire from me, i see numerous owners with 2" drops they usually journey on 17" rims with out a problems, possibly the social gathering bump once a day or anything, but nothing significant. 15"s are definately too small, i mean the factory rims were sixteen", so you'd be smaller than manufacturing facility even! 17" will probably be high-quality, go for it! It is going to appear first-rate with the drop.

You can probably go up to a 28 mm tire and you will have to get new tubes.
