Does anyone have some good organizing tips for large kitchen items such as pots, pans, lids and baking trays?

My kitchen and cupboards are a bit of a mess, any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I do a bunch of things shown in that link of pics that Amanda listed, but here are some others:

    pots/pans:

...2 of the largest and most-used pans/pots live on the 2 back burners of the stove

...other pans/sauce pans hang on hooks on a wall-mounted wire grid I bought somewhere

    lids:

...few med-lg ones go in between several metal bookends, on the counter to one side of the stove

...few med-small ones go in a drawer next to the stove

...very large one the DH uses goes on the inside of a cabinet door next to stove...he screwed on 2 small wood "brackets" that the bottom of the lid would rest in

    baking trays:

...I'm lucky and have a tall thin cabinet for larger baking trays

...smaller trays go behind or on the side of the toaster oven

...we also use lunchroom-type food trays and I put those on a makeshift "shelf" I added in a small vertical space I had between frig and wall

I also help reduce mess and increase availability of some items by:

... putting a shallow cardboard lid (intended for underbed/etc storage, or similar shallow "tray" of some kind) on top of a shelf inside a cabinet so that I can then pull everything out easily, as if it were a shelf on rollers

......I've also put roller mechanisms on the sides of some of my other shelves

...standing the most-often-used cooking /cutting/spreading utensils in a ceramic (or metal) container within easy reach

...use hooks to hold anything hangable anywhere I can... e.g., hanging coffee drip cone from bottom of a shelf inside cabinet...and use a napkin holder for holding coffee filters

...I'm also lucky enough to have several of those really large wide kitchen drawers and use those for many things (and stack things inside other things)

...I also have 2 "spice" turntables in one over-counter cabinet for frequently-used spices/herbs and also baking powder, etc.

...I put a short bookshelf cabinet at the end of our peninsula and use that to hold all kinds of things sometimes used but not really frequently.

...The DH built me a tall but shallow cabinet thingie on the side of one of the existing end cabinets to hold all my spices, boxes of tea, and some other not-too-thick items.
