We wake people up to draw blood before 7AM and check the very 1st days vital signs.
Its important to keep a schedule and on time because we have so many patients on the floor.
We never wait for anyone to wake up and if you were still sleeping at 7AM, thats later than we usually round with the staff.
We also do checks hourly even during the night.
Ive always said, hospitals are no place for anyone to rest.
