The bible repeatedly describes "God" as the most hateful, deceitful, warmongering, mass murdering, total ******* ever to be imagined. As for almighty, well, obviously not.

The mystery's of faith an GOD are beyond human comprehension.
Faith concerns questions which cannot be settled by evidence.
You can't see the wind, but you know it is there because you can see what the wind is doing. You can know that the wind is there because you can feel it.God is like the wind, you can't see him.

Sometimes He is. Sometimes He is a very turbulent being full of anger and hate. In the end God is all of that and more. We should know. We were created in His image. God is the same as us in the least. And a lot more than we are in the most.
