Bad budget forecasting ....
They budgeted on a diminishing revenue stream then spent the money before they'd received it & voila , BIG BLACK HOLE !
edit Corey may not think it's a big deal but it's enough of a big deal to have these idiots running around whacking taxes on anything that moves ! That affects us me old China Plate ...

Quite amazing, perhaps they need to bring Keating back, only treasurer on the Left with much going for him.
Why don't they take over the $18 Billion in lost Super Accounts and use that instead.
Why haven't they put the excise up on alcohol, perhaps they think it might lose too many votes!

with a GDP of $1.38 Trillion annually, miscounting by $30 billion really is not a big deal.....it would be like you have $1,380 but you think you have $1,410
