How can I travel back in time?

You can`t,but to "Look" back in time all you have to do is look up at the stars in the night sky.

The closest star to our Sun is "Proxima Centauri" it is 4.2 light years away which means when we see it we see it as it was 4.2 years ago.This applies to all the stars we can see.

Okay, I know how, If u want to chose a certain point in time and go quickly travel until u find a small island in the alantic ocean. Find the center of the island then go 1.68 meters to the south and dig 2.34 m down you will find a small bottle bottle. Inside it there will be our sacred, Jesus. If anyone tells u it reminds them of an old tv show slap them and call them a heratic. You will attract many people, including some that may never shower and only speak in riddles or collect Amish swimwear. Don't worry! This is normal. I do not suggest this if u have kids as at school kids will laugh at them and call them bottle boy and say stuff like "that's the kid who's mom keeps our sacred in that tiny bottle!" alsoo don't dance, dancing is a one way ticket to hell, a cult told me that, and Jesus won't help u in hell to travel back in time. anyways this will be a big deal finding Jesus in this bottle, but many people will he angered over it, will probably be getting 400 death threats a day and I suggest a body guard, but this is he price u must pay to travel back in time, finally, when you have had enough of you possible existing kids getting bullied and the death threats and ur strange swimwear collecting followers creep downstairs at night. Look at the special bottle on the table and then unscrew the lid! Much smoke will appear but hopefully u will have taken out the batteries in ur fire alarm to put in ur flashlight. Then out of the smoke, our sacred, Jesus Christ will appear! He will say thank u for releasing me for that I will grant u one wish an that's how u will end up traveling back in time and everyone will read about it in people magazine. We know that time can be slightly affected by velocity and gravity but only in the forward direction, however just as a paddle in a stream can produce an eddy, we may be able to create a vortex where time flows in reverse briefly. Of course just as the whirlpools that the paddle produces are downstream of the paddle, the vortex can not flow to before it was created, you would not be able to visit the dinosaurs and no one from the future will use a future time machine to visit you. Problem is, nothing is like a paddle in time, everything exists in the past to the point of it's creation and everything exists in the future till it's destruction while a paddle has nothing upstream or downstream of it.

It is not possible to travel backwards in time. You can see backwards in time though - if you were to suddenly appear 1 Light Year away, if you looked at Earth then you would see it as it was a year ago, as the light reflected off of it would take a year to reach the point that you appeared at. Even looking at the Sun, we see it as it was about 8 minutes ago.

Possibly by breaking through spacetime, which would require an intense amount of energy. Maybe a supernova exploding? Harness the energy through a small human size circle and maybe you can make a hole. Then figure out how to find where you want to be. May need to make lots of holes in order to find the right spot.

time travel you could like, go to the future, check that out see whats goin on there, aliens, flying cars, blah blah blah but space travel, you never know, that could happen in the future AND WITH TIME TRAVEL YOU GET BOTH :)

travel backwards is not possible. I explain this thoroughly in my book. Time is a very interesting subject.. It is possible to travel forward in time but if you do, you will not be abl e to return to the present starting point.... it is a one way trip !... :0)
