Should Democrat Rep. repudiate Liberal remarks calling Ted Cruz a Foreign Born Racist Nazi Skinhead Scum?
While that didn't happen this did, at a Republican town hall a man got up and said "what you can do to stop these communist tyrannical executive orders laid down by this foreign-born, America-hating communist despot?" Unfortunately the Rep. Martha Roby (R) from Alabama didn't have the spine to correct the man.
Can you imagine a Democrat voters calling Ted Cruz a Foreign Born Racist Nazi Skinhead Teabagging Scum? Republicans would be outraged and demand an apology if the Democrat Rep. did not repudiate the remarks immediately....even though Ted Cruz is actually foreign born unlike the American native born Obama. We would have watched Fox news rerun the story 500 times by the end of the week.. Even after when asked about it, Roby did not have the common decency to repudiate those remarks.
Is this why no one takes the Tea Party seriously?
We are not talking about the Media hacks or a radio DJ like Rush, we are talking about an elected official standing there and doing nothing and letting folks make her look foolish. That is her choice and she made it.
