Use the powdery soap, ajax or comet, etc. and a fairly strong scouring pad. Don't be shy...you might have to scrub like a mother fish. The biggest part of the fish...the tale

It is an oil base so you will need something which cuts this liquid. I have used a small spritz of Purell on a clean paper towel.
