What should be the topic of my writing sample?
I have to write a creative or technical writing sample for a job within a family law firm and am feeling stuck. There were no specifics listed and anytime I google it, not only is it unhelpful but a lot of sites are copy/pastes of other ones.

That is supposed to be creative, something that you actually created, not something you copied. If you are not original enough to come up with a topic, maybe that job is not for you.
