Goldfish has white on its nose?!?

I've had my goldfish for about a week and a half now, she's been doing really well (I've had many fish before and yes I have her in a bowl). But she has just gotten a white mark above her mouth by her nose it was a little raised at first now its flat, theres a bit of red around it. I'm starting to worry a bit her swimming is very laggy, but she still eats, her water gets a weird smell if I leave it for to long (more than 5 days) and very dirty. So I got some gravel and plants thinking that would help but it doesnt. Does anyone know what might be going on? I dont know if its amonia levels or what. Please help me.

P.S. I know people say goldfish shouldn't be in bowls but I've had some for over 5 years. Please dont hate. Thanks a bunch

Update:

Also the white mark has been going inwards now, its not raised now its sunken in.

sounds similar to what my fishes had. you can get a tub of pellets for it if it is white spot. if you want to cure your fish you should put her in a large mixing bowl with a sprinkle of pellets and leave her for a while (about 1 hour)
