I would say no forget it. This is just random statements, they say absolutely nothing. I have no idea what your trying to say.You have used good words, and phrasing, But pull back the skin on what?What stopped, when did it began? what is it? Where are you trapped? When people read poetry they do not want to guess and wonder what the poet is talking about. Poetry has to say something not just statements that are random and doesn't say anything.
