good beginner guitar for metal?
i would like it to be cheap and i would play a lot of thrash metal

I play the same style of music and my first guitar was an ibenez I got it for around $400 or you could get a jackson guitar they are cheap and have a great thrash metal sound. I hope this helps.

It depends on what you mean by cheap. If You get a PRS SE guitar, you won't have to upgrade later. The cost right now for a kit on Amazon (which is cheaper than just the guitar by itself) is $590 for the white PRS 245 SE. The Mark Tremonti signature kit (which is cheaper than the stand alone guitar) is $584 on Amazon. People are playing thrash on Hello Kitty guitars which are about $200. Those work best with tons of distortion.
