Sea salt spray recipe, to create nice beach waves?

I've been researching some recipes for a homemade sea salt spray because I really want to make my waves look nicer and more beachier:) haha, just wondering if anyone could share their recipe and your experience with it?

    Mix 1 teaspoon sea salt and 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil into 1 cup of lukewarm water. (You can use any kind of oil but coconut smells great and has nutrients in it which are great for your hair) Stir until the salt is completely dissolved. Then add 1 teaspoon of hair gel to make the waves stay in place. Add to the spray bottle and spray away!

    (You will also have to wash your hair thoroughly the next day because the coconut oil will make your hair look oily. The oil is just to keep your hair from drying out from the salt.)
