My son just got a mp4 player for his birthday. We have no idea on how to download the music.?
It says I need to copy and paste files into the folder of my MP4 player. Eject the MP4 players by clicking the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the tray and selecting MP4 player???? I have no idea what that all means. I don't understand...can someone clarify all of this for me? My son is disappointed that we can't download music. Also..anyone suggest music download sites...we have no idea...thank you.

1. Go onto YouTube and find the song you want.
2. When you search for it put 'Lyrics' at the end because it will give you a better version.
3. Click on a video and copy the URL which is in the address bar.
4. Go on to the http://www.listentoyoutube.com/ website.
5. Paste it into the box below the words 'Entee YouTube URL' and click 'Go'
6. It will check the link and then convert the file into a MP3 format.
7. After it has done that some yellow writing will come up saying 'Click here to get your download link' click on it.
8. Click the 'Download MP3' button.
9. Your computer will then ask you to save the file. Name it what you want and click 'Save.' The song will now be accessible in your 'Downloads' folder.
10. Repeat these steps with all the other songs you want to put on.
Putting it on your MP4 Player:
1. Plug in the MP4 player into your USB drive.
2. Go to the 'Downloads' folder and select all the songs you want on your player and click copy.
3. Go onto 'My Computer' and you will see a removable disk file next to your usual hard drive files.
4. Click on that and it will open your MP4 player file.
5. Paste the songs into the file by right clicking and clicking paste.
I don't know off the top of my head how to remove a USB safely but you don't have to do it, you can just pull it out. Removing it safely just means that it will prevent the USB from loosing files but this hardly ever happens. If you want to do it though I would just type 'how to safely remove a USB' and follow the instructions on one of the websites.

Connect your mp4 player to your computer via the supplied usb cord. Go to Computer on your desk top (usually) and open your mp4 as a drive. Open your music file (if you already have the music downloaded) highlight the music you want to put on the mp4 player and copy from that file to your mp4 player. It might be hard to understand if you don't know much about computers.
