i am going to a two year college which means no dorms. i have a question what do people wear? and would a maxi dress and a jean jacket be too dressy? ill eventually start wearing sweats and hoodie but its too hot for a hoodie. Thank you

That would be perfectly fine. Not to dressy at all. I see chicks at my college wear sky high heels....that's a bit to much.

A maxi dress and a jean jacket is too dressy... you're only going to school. Since its hot out, I think something like Capris and a tank top or t-shirt would look fine.

Basic v-necs with jeans and sandals or flats are a go to for me. You can always make it look cute with accessories and a trendy handbag or a scarf. Nobody really cares, it just looks silly when someone has pumps at campus. Wedges are an exception tho. And to answer your question, no, a maxi with a jean jacket with sandals would not look too dressy. Don't stress. :)
