Ha - Ian Somerhalder IS really hot! lol

Anyway, I'm sorry to say, but practice and time are the only things that will get you comfortable with liquid/felt tip liner. It does take some getting used to.

But I know that it sucks to have spent so much money on a designer brand and you're dying to wear it and it's not working out! Ugh.

My tip would be to lay the tip more against your eye, start where you're most comfortable (the middle of your lid or the inner corner) and "lay down" a line as you move the tip across your lid. This will allow for more even product distribution. DON'T hold the pen tip pointing directly towards your eyeball.....lay it more flat against your lashline. Let the shape of the tip work for you and sort of "lay" the color down as you go.

Also, try using a damp spongetip shadow applicator (a cheap one that comes with an eyeshadow from the drugstore) or a damp q-tip rolled into a point and lightly blend along the top edge of the line

to soften any mistakes and blend any shaky edges.

You can also try lightly smoking out the line with a similar colored shadow if you make mistakes.

And avoid a double espresso before applying your make-up....you may get a jittery hand.

Just breathe and relax while doing your liner and take your time.

To practice, save up a few bucks and get a super cheap liquid liner in the drugstore (Wet 'n Wild or NYC) and use those to steady your hand. Pretty soon you'll be lining your eyes like a pro!

    I love Ian Somerhalder too!!

so , what I do for eyeliners is that I first practice them on my hand. whatever shape you want , try it on your hand first, see how you should move the eyeliner to get the shape and then do it on your eye!

    wish you luck doing that!

    have a great day!
