You are gonna see more fastballs in the strike zone because you don't wanna mess around with walking a pitcher but they throw breaking balls if necessary. Some pitchers aren't bad hitters so you have to respect their bats but they aren't a huge threat so you gotta try to make them hit it or go back to the dugout because they didn't try. On a bunt you wanna throw a high fastball because the objective for a bunter is to get the ball on the ground out in front of them with a high fastball the bunter has not to much time to get his bat in position and if he doesn't there is a good chance he fouls it back to the backstop or pops it up to the catcher or lines it hard enough to the pitcher that he has a chance of getting the lead runner

Some NL pitchers can hit the ball well but for the most part the opposing pitcher will see a lot of fastballs. You definitely don't want to walk the opposing pitcher.

The same pitches you see against the other 8 players, but you'll see them pitched in the strike zone more often, with less biting at the corners. Unless they're pitching to Zack Greinke, who has a batting average over .400 and is 9 for his last 15, including the game winning hit last night against the Cardinals. And did I mention the Dodgers use him regularly as a pinch hitter? Yeah, some pitchers can hit...

From what I've seen, mostly fastballs since it's the easiest pitch to control with the occasional off-speed offering.. The pitchers won't throw as hard so they can save their best fastball for a later hitter.

Like when non-pitchers are batting, the kinds of pitches designed to get the batter out depending on the situation. Not all NL pitchers are bad hitters.

Fastballs I think usually. Sometimes, though, just to confuse the opposing pitcher, he may throw breaking balls or off speed pitches to be successful.

Usually fastballs pretty well down the middle, unless, the other pitcher has established he can hit.
