Legal aid question ?

I heard a while back that legal aid was stopping does anybody know if this is true and if it's true when did it stop? Thanks in advance.

    it's been stopped to save money like a lot of things a few people have been misusing it so everyone else is punished the people with money win again the seedy claim lawyers have jobs but only on certainties and take half the compensation

    Not true; the scope has been restricted and eligibility tightened up.

    Yes in april this year but you can still go to citizens advice.
