Help contacting HR or district manager?
I use to work for buffalo wild in in Greeley, CO and recently moved out of state. I called up the store to give them my new address and the general manager said "lets figure out how your going to pay me before i send you your check" no I know for a fact that this is illegal to do no mater what. The check has my name so it is mime no matter what. I want to go to higher authority and get my check. How do I contact HR or a district manager for the northern Colorado area? If you have a name and phone number that would be awesome, cause I really don't want to call up the main headquarters and go though the troubles of them locating everything

If you go to the Wild Wings website, there should be a way for you to contact corporate. You also have the right to contact the State of Colorado labor relations department and inform them that your former employer is refusing to release your final check unless you pay him. This is illegal unless you had done something at work for which you still owed the company money, such as a cash advance that exceeded your pay check or damages that you were paying back.

How you're going to pay him WHAT? The cost of a stamp? I'd probably mail the cheapskate a stamp.
Here's how to contact corporate. If you worked for a franchise though rather than a company-owned store, they aren't likely to help you.
Good luck.

i do no longer think of you're overreacting in any respect. that's fairly irrelevant and extremely unprofessional (in spite of the certainty that i'm optimistic this individual would not care approximately being expert). i think of you're able to proceed to objective to touch HR to debate this with them, and in all hazard even in writing. in the event that they are no longer responding to emails or letters, is it possible to circulate in to talk to them in individual? in the event that they do respond and communicate this with you, i'd be optimistic to checklist each little thing reported. If it truly is by digital mail or letters, be optimistic to keep all of them. i assume I say that merely in case they are no longer information approximately it and are not keen to do something approximately it. i do no longer understand what company/company you're in, so i do no longer understand the place you may take it from there. If HR isn't responding, is there somebody greater up which you will have the ability to take this matter to? you truly shouldn't could post with this, and despite the fact that company it is, it truly is surely undesirable for his or her company, era. I choose you all the final, and that i'm hoping you may resolve this that it is going to likely be stopped.

This makes no sense. Why is the general manager trying to get money from you? Why does he feel that you owe him or the store any money? How do you owe them money?
I don't think you are telling us the whole story.
