Would taking AP Bio and APUSH be too difficult to take at the same time?
I'm currently a junior and these are my classes:
H Span 3
H Lit
H Pre calc
APUSH
healthcare 2
AP environmental
I started school on Monday and realized I didn't have almost any friends in my classes... I'm very conflicted as to if I should stay in ap enviro and get an easy a and have less friends in my classes or if I should change to ap bio and have a harder time but with more friends. I'm really nervous about taking ap us and ap bio together because both classes are extremely difficult.... Let me know what you think of ap bio or apush if you took them... Any advice would help

Actually, my friends junior year are taking both classes+ like at least 4 honors classes as we have 8 classes the whole year. Bio is hard, the packets i've done take some time to understand. Bio it's just like, you either understand it or you don't. You know? It's really interesting though, you learn how to breathe and genetics, cells, organ system, evolution, plant cycles. Very interesting. And apush there's a lot of memorization. Memorize where all the countries are, all the presidents, many essays you have to do. Apush takes everything you learned about american history from when you were elementary to highschool, and they use all that info and expand it so you'll be learning everything about everything about us history + some history of other countries. Don't take ap bio if your friends are taking it. Like who cares. Most of my friends are taking apush and i'm not and if i take ap bio senior year i'll probably have no friends in there as well. Soph year I didn't have any friends for my art class and piano class, but it was worse in art class because you have to interact with the students in that class more. I lived through it. I didn't like it and it took most of the fun out of that class but i definitely liked learning about art and doing the projects. So my point is, you'll never know how much you'll like a class until you've tried it just as you'll never know how hard a class if until you've tried it. I'd probably do some practice work from ap bio and see if i understand it.

I remember that AP US History and AP Biology are pretty time-consuming. It would be a challenge to take them together. Both take a lot of memorization, and bio requires a lot of lab stuff. I think if you are already spread a bit thin, perhaps waiting until next year would be a good idea. Hang out with friends outside of class and/or make new ones in your environmental class.
