What is the best digital compact camera around £300?

I would choose the Panasonic lumix lx7

there is only one ultimate compact , id have one now if i could afford one , in fact id have an aps-c sensor compact if money was no object but it is so aps-c compacts are out of the question

the compact i can see is the Sony rx100 if youve got £300 buy one now !!!!!!!!!

allt he ones you list are excellent , id have the x10 and the xz-2 and i love the lumix lx7 but you can own them all ,

but by far the best compact camera out today for under £300 (used) is the rx100 .

I highly recommend you to go with sony hx50

It has optical zoom capability, pocket sized camera... actually my brother uses it, really awesome.
