Does he like me or does he just treat me differently?

This kid in my youth group has been acting funny lately, he's been making fun of me a lot and just picking at me more than he used to. Four of my friends and I took a trip for one's last trip before college and he slowly changed his attitude towards me when he noticed I liked some of the same things he did. It wasn't a big deal for me because over the years I've known him I've paid attention to my youth group friends so I already knew we were alike. After the trip he would tease me but differently, it was more of a mocking way than just trying to irritate me all the time. He seems a bit awkward when I try to talk to him though which really confuses me cause it's not like he doesn't know what to say it's like he doesn't always want to talk to me. (But he really isn't too much of a talker) He's been giving me advice though when I need it but goes back to making excuses to make jokes immediately. Something else, him and another kid who like my friend were rating all of the girls in the group apparently and when they were apparently rating me it took awhile for them to do it. I don't know what they rated any of us but it didn't take them long to do anyone else beside my friend. I'm so freaking confused right now because I was under the impression that this kid hated me for year but now he's being mean in an awkward way. I don't even know now. Someone please?
