i roleplay on a website that is full of people that i think are roleplaying unfair.

It really depends on what is happening and the rules in the RP you're participating in and what exactly they are doing.
If they taking control of your character in any way is normally a no-no and can be seen as unfair.
As is making up new rules on the fly or completely ignoring a part of what you're doing.
However, it also depends on the rules of the site, thread or forum you're doing this on.
