Can you know what is in an encrypted file?

I zipped a file using WinRAR and then encrypted the file using Glary Utilities encryption tool. The file was flagged as a Trojan by Security Essentials Antivirus.

How can this be possible?

    Well some of the encryption techniques seems to be vulnerable by your anti virus. So it's predictable .So try different encryption scheme

    Encryption is to put information into a special code, especially in order prevent people from looking at it without authority
