"Top Contributor" is misleading. Shouldn't it be changed to something more fitting?
Even though a few of the Top Contributors here actually make an effort, I find that the majority of them actually contribute very little or nothing at all. I put more effort into ONE answer than most of these people put into all their answers combined! Yes, give them a badge, but make it relevent. Do you agree or disagree?

That would take a lot of sifting -- to whittle down to only the most deserving. But, at least YA! has a start with the TC badge. Perhaps one day, we'll see more stringent parameters for selection.
Agreed. For now, I see what you see; and that is, that anybody can attain the badge, and their answers reflect as much. If you answer enough questions and attain the minimum best answers, you too can have the badge, as can anyone. But 'anyone' is generally not who we want to ask, when we need important info in a bad way. Isn't it true?
