Hey me and my friend brought same laptops and i got windows 7 home basic 64 bit as operating system. My friend was telling that he is unable to install 32 bit operating system in the laptop. He told that my laptop don't support 32 bit os. Really my laptop don't support 32 bit os or there is some other problem. we have hp pavilion g4 series laptop

The problem is your friend doesn't know what he's talking about. Your pavilion g4 supports 64 bit operating systems. This of course also means it supports 32 bit as well.

it depends on hardware and processor so that in your care your laptop must have 64 bit processor and hardware
