i keep getting cramps in my toes.. why could this be?

Your feet could be cold? you might have a lack of salt in your diet, you could be sitting in a position which puts a strain on your toes?
EDIT:
Make sure you straighten your leg once you get the cramps, walk it out. Try to flex your toes so your muscles are not tight

It could be poor circulation, or it could be lack of potassium, which is found in bananas, potatoes, most fruits & veg in fact.
Alternatively, it could be nerve damage (neuropathy) which can be caused by conditions like poorly controlled diabetes. Since you don't mention anything like that I'm guessing it's more likely one of the other two reasons.
