Anyone tell me what these wires go to please?

Here are pictures of the wires with the harnesses.

I have no clue where they go and if its easy to plug them back to where they go. There right by the staring wheel, so I'm assuming it goes to all the gages and stuff in the dash. Its a 2004 Chevy Silverado ext cab with a V8 Diesel engine and 4x4 trans. If that helps.

Also here are some pictures to the engine compartment is there anything missing in the compartment that I should worry about?

and here is a picture of the speedometer the needle is stuck as well. Is it an easy fix or would I have to replace it?

Would be great if a Chevy Diesel mechanic can tell me if I am missing anything
