What do you think about Frodo in Lord of the Rings Books?
This question is only for those who'd say good for him. Just wanna know about him more. I've always liked Frodo. Though it's very hard to tell who's the best or my favourite character. But I've learned a lot from Frodo and Sam. So wanna know about the Ring-bearer.

Frodo is very brave and took on a great responsibility out of love for his friends and his home. Not many people would sacrifice everything for others the way he did. His size and lack of experience put him at a serious disadvantage, but he persevered anyway. He got a lot of help along the way, but that doesn't make him less of a hero. He appreciated all and even loved some of the others who helped him and they were a big part of why he was willing to sacrifice everything to save them. He struggled a lot as the ring took it's toll on him, and almost didn't finish what he set out to do. But in the end, even if it took gollum to actually destroy the ring, Frodo is still a hero.
PS I would also argue that Samwise is as big of a hero as Frodo, if not more, but that doesn't diminish my opinion of Frodo at all.

Frodo is a great character. He always tries to do the right thing, doubts himself, forgives his friends for doing stupid things and gets no credit when he gets home. He sacrifices himself almost to the end, and then would have failed if Gollum hadn't saved the day. He is a tragic hero rescued from his fatal flaw by a tragic villain.

I always wondered what would happen if he died or was killed off early in the story.
